Alright, this is by far my favorite story from Bittercold. At Modern skatepark, they have one of the funnest bowls I’ve skated in a while.

SO, I’m shredding. minding my own business, when I over hear a group of little kids say to Wake Schepman “oh man! There’s Erik Bailey! I want to go talk to him!” “No way! What if he doesn’t say anything?!”. I was awestruck. Every time I’ve ever skated with Erik he has been the best possible dude ever. So I said to the kid “Hey man, you should really go say hey to Erik! I promise he’s the nicest dude ever, go over and say whats up!”

The kid fumbled around with the Idea for a second, and then skated over to him slowly… as if he was going to bite him hahaha and All at once I saw Erik turn around and look down with the biggest smile on his face, give the kid the best daps he’s ever gotten and then talked to him for like 10 minutes. The kid lit the fuck up like a Christmas tree, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a bigger smile on anyone ever.  Since then, I watched those kids follow him around all weekend and every time I saw them he was continuing to make their weekend.

They even got a picture with him on the Valo Page.

Erik Bailey and Valo made my weekend. Even if the buckle on my valo’s exploded :(
